This weekend marks the beginning of Hudson Warehouse‘s short–but free–run of Richard III in the park. This show concludes the 9th free summer season of Hudson Warehouse’s performances, which included Comedy of Errors in June and The Rover by Aphra Behn in July. From now until September 2, the non-profit theater group will perform at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument by 90th St. in Riverside Park every Thurs-Sun. Though the show starts at 6:30, much of the audience wanders in sometime after, pleasantly surprised by the theatrical production as they stroll through the park. Bring a picnic, sit on the steps of the memorial, and enjoy a forceful and passionate performance of Shakespeare’s drama.
