Editors Claire Heyison and Hannah Kloepfer recently yogified themselves for a week at Yoga Vida — Claire in SoHo and Hannah in Union Square. Yoga Vida’s two locations offer a variety of classes, including Basic, Flow, and Advanced levels of Vinyasa yoga, as well as Candelit, Postnatal, and Kids. Below, the yoginis debrief:
Yoga Vida SoHo:
“All New Yorkers need to practice yoga,” says Cat, when I sit down with her after taking her hour-long Flow class. She praises yoga for its ability to engage practitioners in small challenges and approach failure without judgment, thereby helping them forget or deal with stress from their daily lives. And yeah, I can think of one or two New Yorkers who might benefit from that.
