Wondering what’s been happening to the Occupy Wall Street Movement? A recent New York Times profile details the emergence of an “Occupy Camp” that has emerged in Brooklyn. Participants include members of the original Occupy movements, and the organization hopes to revitalize what has been a waning force in politics.

Speaking of New York-related current events, those of you paying attention to Mayor Bloomberg’s plan to ban 16-ounce sugary drinks should take note of an interesting development detailed in a scathing article over at the Village Voice. According to the article, a group dedicated to stopping the legislation’s passage just collected 60,000 signatures supporting their cause.
