Beer Here: Brewing New York’s History 
The New York Historical Society’s exhibit on NYC’s history with beer opens today!  Learn about the social, political, economic, and historical factors of beer in our city, and make sure to sign up for a beer tasting!
170 Central Park West, 2pm-8pm, B/C to 81st St, 1 to 79th

Saturday, May 26

Bicycle Fetish Day - FREE
This annual celebration of all things bicycle will feature biking activities, bike competitions, bike rides, bicycle advocacy groups and artists selling their wares. The will be a BBQ and more! Meet up with reddit if you want some biking buds.
12pm, Williamsburg, Havemeyer between Grand Street and Hope St, L to Lorimer

Governors Island opens for the season! 
Bike, picnic, tan, and take a tour of the newly-opened Castle Williams.

Grand Opening of Luna Park
Head to Coney Island for new rides and tons of fun!
11am-Midnight.  Coney Island.

Sunday, May 27

Veggie Pride Parade - FREE
Break out your kale chips and chug down some hemp milk- NYC’s annual Veggie celebration is here! Costume contests, free vegetarian food, and of course, a festive parade are sure to please omnivores and vegans alike!
Parade begin at 12pm in the Old Meat Packing District(where 9th Ave. & Gansevoort St. intersect). It will culminate in a festival for all to enjoy at the north end of Union Square Park.
