Waking up on a weekend morning (and by morning I mean afternoon) with a throat like sandpaper and a heavy case of alcohol-induced dizzies hardly welcomes the notion of inserting vodka into your a.m. Tropicana. If you are one of those poor, unfortunate souls staying on campus for that wonderful four-day weekend that is Thanksgiving break, I empathize. Nevertheless, this is also an opportunity for you to completely explore the city as it transitions from a cool, autumnal city to a magical one full of festive holiday decorations. And with that, when your roommate comes back from visiting the family and asks sardonically what you did over the weekend, you can regale him or her with your wonderful tales of New York adventures and parties that will surely make him/her jealous as heck and wishing he/she never went back home for Thanksgiving.
